CRT Update
There's good news for people with very small claims in British Columbia: the online Civil Resolution Tribunal ("CRT") will be accepting smalls claims disputes up to $5,000. For more information you can read the Canadian Bar Association's article or read the latest update from the CRT
The CRT has been accepting strata law claims since October 2016 and has already released a number of published decisions. Soon people with small claims disputes that have no connection to strata law will also be able to have their claim resolved in the streamlined online claim process.
